As the SPSS installer is a large file, you may get a warning that Google Drive is unable to scan the file for viruses.  Since this is a trusted CNU drive, click “Download anyway” and the file will download.

Installing SPSS

1. Navigate to where you downloaded the file and click IBM_SPSS_STATISTICS_27_64-BIT_Win.exe or IBM_SPSS_STATISTICS_26_32-BIT_Win.exe. If you aren’t already logged in as an administrator, you’ll be prompted to enter an administrator’s credentials.
2. The installer will start.  Click Next.
3. You’ll be presented with a license agreement.  Accept the agreement and click Next.
4. You’ll be asked if you want to install SPSS Statistics Essentials for Python.  Click yes or no and click Next. If you don’t know what Python is, you can click no.

5. You’ll see a message that your license has been applied.  Click Finish.

To download SPSS, Follow the link provided here.  If you’re already signed in to CNU Connect, you’ll be taken directly to the folder containing the relevant files  If not, you’ll see the Google sign-in page. Sign in with your CNU e-mail and password. Once you have accessed the folder, select the file for the relevant operating system and download the file.
