After inserting a CD into the lectern computer, it is relatively simple to locate said CD to play it. Open open the File Explorer on your taskbar (it should look like a folder).
From the resulting window, select 'This PC' to see all the available devices and drives for this computer; the CD will be among them. Double-click the named CD to begin playing.
You can also right-click the CD, and select 'Play with VLC Media Player'.
As the CD is playing, you can use the computer's audio settings to adjust the volume of play. This can most easily be accessed via the taskbar; click the Volume icon on the far right to open the needed slider, and adjust the volume as needed.
