You will then come to a window allowing you to search for a video. Type in the name or keywords you have in mind, and click Search to start the search.


Search YouTube


A number of choices will be displayed.  To choose one, click Select next to the video you’d like to view.

This will bring you to a space where you can preview the video, as well as select some settings for how the video will be displayed in the content it is being embedded into. Note: Some YouTube videos do not allow for inline play, and will need to be opened inside the YouTube platform in order to play it. When this is the case, Scholar will alter the embed to indicate such.

Once you’ve set that option, you can scroll down to the bottom.  Click Insert to embed the video into your content.

Select Link from the list of options, and paste the copied URL into the space provided. 



Create LinkLink URL


Click Submit, and the link will be added to Scholar. Note that this method does not embed the video to be viewed from within Scholar, but links out to the YouTube video's primary location.
