As the SPSS installer is a large file, you may get a warning that Google Drive cannot scan the file for viruses.  Since this is a trusted CNU drive, click “Download anyway,” and the file will download.

Installing SPSS

1. Navigate to where you downloaded the file and click IBM_SPSS_STATISTICS_29_64-BIT_Win.exe or IBM_SPSS_STATISTICS_29_32-BIT_Win.exe. If you aren’t already logged in as an administrator, you’ll be prompted to enter an administrator’s credentials.on your computer and open it. 
2. The installer will start.  Click Next.

3. You’ll be presented with a license agreement.  Accept the agreement and click Next.
   
4. You’ll be asked if you want to install SPSS Statistics Essentials for Python.  Click yes or no and click Next. If you don’t know what Python is, you can click no.
   1. If you install Python, you must accept two more license agreements and click Next.

6. Either way, you’ll be asked where to install SPSS.  Unless you have a reason to install it somewhere other than the default, click Next.

7. Then, click Install to begin the installation.The installation will start.  It will  The process may take a few minutes to complete, and will ask a user to input administrator credentials if using a CNU computer. 
8. When it completes, you’ll be given the option to start the SPSS License Authorization Wizardautomatically launch the program. Make sure the box is checked and click Finish.

9. The License Authorization Wizard will start .  Choose “Concurrent user license” and click Next.when you first launch SPSS.  Choose “Launch License Wizard", then in the following screen select "Concurrent User License."

10. On the next screen, enter equity.cnu.edu in the box and click Next.
11. You’ll see a message that your license has been applied.  Click Finish.
