The McMurran 101 lecture hall has now been equipped with a dedicated VHS player. This VHS player can be found at the top of the computer cabinet, in combination with the cabinet’s DVD player.

To use the VHS player, start by ensuring that the VHS player is on, which can be determined by whether or not a time indicator is visible at the bottom of the player. The VHS player can be powered on or off using the power button at the bottom right.

The Lecture 101 Crestron screen includes an option for projecting VHS input. To switch the projector to VHS, press the VHS button on the far right.

The screen will be overlaid with the VHS controls. Utilize the bar of buttons at the bottom of the window to stop, play, pause, and rewind/fast forward your VHS. Please note that rewinding and fast-forwarding are controlled with ‘Scan <<” and “Scan >>” respectively. 

When finished using the VHS, press the X icon in the upper right to return to the main screen, then exit the system.

Use the Eject button on the VHS player to retrieve your tape.
