NOTE: You must have set up 2 forms of Multi-Factor Authentication to utilize the self-service password reset tool. If you have not completed this portion, you will find that these instructions will not help you until you have done so.
Navigate to the following link: cnu.edu/password
- Once at this link, you will type in your email address and complete the captcha on the screen.
- You will then make a selection that applies to your scenario.
- If you selected "I forgot my password," you will see the following displayed based on the recovery methods you have set up.
- Once you complete the FIRST step, you must complete a SECOND verification form.
- Once completed, you will see a page that asks you to create a new password.
New password requirements are as follows:- 14 Characters
- Contains characters from three of the following categories:
- Uppercase letters A through Z
- Lowercase letters a through z
- Digits 0 through 9
- Special characters from the following list: ~!@#$%^&*()_-+=`|\(){}[]:;"'<>,.?/
- Once you have configured a new password you will be all set!
