Alternative Mobile Assessment Techniques
Description
Mobile Assessment is an invaluable tool teachers can use to create, deliver, and grade assessments quickly and easily. Many mobile assessment platforms also provide nearly-instant analysis of student results, allowing teachers to more quickly and effectively use assessments to inform instruction. Multiple mobile assessment platforms exist for this purpose, each display a different method of use and range of features; in this session, we will provide a brief overview of the most popular and enduring of these platforms, allowing participants to select the platform that will best suit their classroom.
Assumptions
Before taking this module, participants should be familiar with the basic principles of mobile assessment. Being familiar with CNU’s favored TurningPoint software is a plus, but not required.Â
