Linked AV Systems SERC 1187 and 1188
While most of the AV elements in SERC 1187 and 1188 are similar to the other rooms in the building, they also contain a unique element. The two rooms are separated by a movable divider that, when open, allows the AV systems to operate off a single set of inputs.
This divider is connected to a sensor in the ceiling, equipped with three lights. When the divider is closed, the sensor indicator lights show all three lights and the two AV systems operate independently.
When the divider is open, one of the lights disappears, and the AV systems connect.
When the two systems are connected, the touchscreens in both rooms show inputs shown on the touchscreen in room 1188’s lectern. The displays in both rooms will respond to the inputs from room 1188, but not respond to inputs from room 1187. Inputs from the ports panel in room 1187 are only active when the divider is closed and the rooms are separate.
