What is eduroam
Eduroam (education roaming) is a secure, world-wide roaming access service developed for the international research and education community. Eduroam is available at thousands of institutions worldwide, see link for a full list of eduroam participants https://eduroam.org/where/?location=us.
Christopher Newport is proud to offer eduroam network access across the entire campus for Students, Faculty, Staff, and Visitors!
Eduroam access for Visitors.
If you are visiting from an eduroam-participating institution please follow the steps below when connecting to the eduroam wireless network.
If you plan on visiting Christopher Newport University, please verify that your device is configured properly for the eduroam network. (Please be aware, if you experience issues authenticating to the eduroam network you MUST refer to your home institution’s support desk for assistance.)
From your device select the eduroam wireless network.
When prompted enter your
Username = enter your user credentials as provided by your home institution
Password = enter the password associated with your account
If prompted, chose to "accept" or "trust" the certificate.
