Renew SPSS License -- Faculty

This article covers how faculty can renew their SPSS license.  This does not apply to students, who use the concurrent license.  Students using the concurrent license will not have to do anything to renew the license.

To renew your license, fill out the SPSS Authorized License request.  You must be logged in with your CNU account to fill out the form.

Then, run the SPSS License Wizard. Older versions will have it in the Start menu on Windows or Launchpad/Applications on a Mac. On Version 28, you'll need to choose Manage License from the File menu.

The License Authorization Wizard will start.  Choose “Authorized user license” and click Next.

On the next screen, enter the license code you received in the box and click Next. On version 28, you'll need to click Add first.

You’ll see a message that your license has been applied.  Click Next, then Fiinish.

Your SPSS license is valid for the remainder of the academic year.  You’ll have to request a new code from the form and re-run the License Authorization Wizard each year.
