Website Blocked by University Firewall

Summary

Christopher Newport employs a next generation Firewall Appliance to protect its users and resources from threats and threat actors that exist on the Internet. To ensure a secure and stable network, ITS uses features such as Vulnerability Protection, Anti-Malware, Blocklists, and URL Filtering, all of which are functions of the University Firewall. In rare cases, some websites may get unintentionally blocked by the Firewall due to a mis-categorization of the website itself.
