Getting Respondus Lockdown Browser-Students

While this software is provided to you from CNU, we do not actively support the installation on personal devices. If you are having issues with installing the software, please reach out to Respondus support.

The Respondus Lockdown Browser download for CNU students can be found here.

Students must download and install the package to use the Respondus Lockdown Browser on required tests. Once Respondus Lockdown Browser is downloaded, starting a test that requires it will automatically launch it. You DO NOT need to directly start Respondus Lockdown Browser.

This download is compatible with the following operating systems: 

  • Windows: 11, 10

  • Mac: MacOS 12 or higher. 

  • iOS: 16.0+ (iPad only, if the instructor explicitly allows it). This compatibility does not extend to Respondus Monitor.
