Encrypting Your Email with Virtu

Encrypting Your Email with Virtu

CNU requires emails (including attachments) containing sensitive information to be encrypted. Virtru is CNU's email encryption solution.  Virtru is a free service that can be added to your email account via a Chrome browser extensionNote:  Only the CNU sender must have the Virtru extension, the receipient does not need the extension.

After installing the browser extension, access your email from the same browser as normal. Upon accessing your inbox a popup will welcome you to using Virtu. Click "Activate" to activate the extension for the email address currently open, then "Done" to close the popup.
