Using CampusGuard for Security Training

Depending on your role at CNU, you may have been required by your department to complete one or more modules of mandated security training.

CampusGuard is CNU's security training provider. CNU has enabled single-sign-on with CampusGuard to use their CNU credentials; users can get to CampusGuard at https://cnu.training.campusguard.com. Clicking Login will trigger the SSO login process.

Upon logging in, you will be brought to one of two views. The grid view will show all available modules. Navigate to the group list (second image) to see your assigned course groups and progress for each module in the group. Both views will include indicators regarding how much of the module has been completed.

Click on an individual training to begin the training. You will be brought into the module, and prompted to begin navigation. Each page in the module will be accompanied by audio, while depending on the module some pages will include interactive elements such as videos or clickable areas. You will only be permitted to navigate to the next page when all the necessary elements on each page have been completed, at which point arrow buttons will appear at the bottom of each page.

Mobile Phone Access

Members of the CNU community can access the CampusGuard security training on their phone / tablet.  However, if you access the training via a web browser on your mobile device, the navigation controls may be difficult to use.  If you want to use a mobile device, we recommend you access the training via the TalentLMS app.  You can download the TaletLMS app from your app store.

Once you run the app, you are prompted to enter your domain.  Enter `cnu.training.campusguard.com` and click "NEXT".

You'll be taken to the CNU Single Sign-On (SSO) to login before you can access CNU's training.  Once you login you will have access to CNU's training in a mobile-friendly format.
