MacOS

Linux

To use Linux with CNU’s Print Anywhere system, you will need to have the CUPS package installed.  This package comes preinstalled on most Linux distributions.  If you are not able to load the website in Step 1, you may need to install it manually.  These instructions were specifically tested with Ubuntu 20, but should remain the same or be similar in other distributions.

Client Uninstallation

Windows

  1. Launch the Windows Settings app and go to the “Apps & features” section.
  2. Select “Pharos” from the list and click the “Uninstall” button.
  3. Click the second “Uninstall” button to confirm.
  4. In the prompts that appear, select to “Run [the] Uninstaller”, and click the Next button twice.
  5. On the “Select Components” screen, select all items that appear in the list, click the Next button twice, and then click the Start button to begin the uninstallation.
  6. When complete, click the Finish button to close the uninstaller.

MacOS

  1. In Finder, browse to the root of your hard drive.
  2. Under the “Library” folder, go to “Application Support,” and then “Pharos.”
  3. In the “Utilities” folder there, run the Uninstaller application.
  4. When prompted, tick the box next to “Pharos Popup” and press the Continue button twice, followed by the Done button to fully remove the application.

Linux

  • There is no Linux client to remove; only the built-in CUPS packages are used.
