What is eduroam

Eduroam (education roaming) is a secure, world-wide roaming access service developed for the international research and education community. Eduroam is available at thousands of institutions worldwide, see link for a full list of eduroam participants https://eduroam.org/where/?location=us.

Christopher Newport is proud to offer eduroam network access across the entire campus for Students, Faculty, Staff, and Visitors! 




Troubleshooting my eduroam connection.

Connecting to eduroam is as easy as entering your username (CNU Email) and password, however, in some cases users may find themselves struggling to maintain a connection or get connected at all. Please review the information below if you are running into an issue with eduroam. 

The troubleshooting steps below apply to CNU faculty, staff, and students. If you are visiting Christopher Newport and are having issues connecting to eduroam please verify with your home institution that your credentials are correct, if you continue to have issue you can visit the IT help desk located in the Trible Library.
