Now that Ultra courses have been rolled out to everyone, Academic Technologies is offering training on additional aspects of Ultra, as well as some other tools connected to Scholar. You'll be able to learn how to make your course more accessible, proctor tests, use AI to generate components of your course, and work with multiple courses using Qwickly Course Tools. We'll also have a review of the Gradebook for those of you who are getting ready for final grades. These training sessions will be offered online, and you must SIGN UP HERE to attend. Links to the course will be sent out to everyone who signs up the day before the course.
Our training schedule is below:
Proctoring Tests with Respondus
The Respondus Lockdown Browser and Respondus Monitor are a pair of linked tools that, together, create a complete online proctoring experience. In this training, we will go over the basics of each tool, and provide a basic demonstration of how to enable and use these tools to create, secure, and review online exams.

Qwickly Attendance
Qwickly Attendance allows faculty to take attendance in their classes either manually or by having students "check in" on a computer or mobile device. Scholar includes several tools which allow you and your students to continue the conversation online after class is over. You can use Scholar’s communication tools to get your students talking about the topic for class, or as an opportunity for students to individually reflect on course topics.
