My Course isn't Showing Up/My Course isn't Letting Me In
If the student's course is not showing up, ask them if it's visible in CNU Live. If it is, then you can give them these instructions. Most likely at this point in the semester, the faculty member has not made the course available. Only the faculty member can do that, so they'll have to contact them to get it set up.
There isn't a Way to Access Collaborate
If they have their computer, confirm that Collaborate (or "online class," etc.) doesn't appear in the course menu at the left. If it doesn't, their instructor has not added Collaborate to their course menu. The student should contact their instructor.
Collaborate isn't Loading/Only a Spinning Circle when Accessing Collaborate
The student needs to:
- Only use a recent version of Chrome or Firefox
- Allow 3rd-party cookies.
My Name is Incorrect in Scholar/Collaborate
That is drawn from the Preferred Name field in Banner. They should contact the Registrar's Office at (757)594-7155 or register@cnu.edu to have their Preferred Name changed.
