Qwickly Attendance for Students

In your Scholar class, your Instructor may be using a tool known as Qwickly Attendance to take attendance for the course. In most cases, this will not affect you; However, settings in Qwickly Attendance may allow your Instructor to take attendance via student check-ins at designated times. If this is the case, you should be able to check in by using the box at the top of your course.

You can also check in or view your attendance record by clicking on the Qwickly Attendance link in the Details and Actions menu of your course.

Clicking this link will open the check-in space in a separate tab on your browser. If your instructor is currently collecting check-ins, you should see a screen with a Check In button available. This screen may also have a timer (If the instructor is doing a timed check-in window) or a field in which you will be expected to enter a four-digit PIN before checking in. (If the Instructor has enabled the PIN feature).

Follow any instructions given by the Instructor (Ex. a specific PIN number needed to confirm your presence in class) and click the Check In button. You will then be brought to a confirmation screen verifying that your check-in was successful, and displaying your current attendance record. Note: Depending on your instructor's settings, no other instructions besides the Check In Button may be needed.
