Qwickly Attendance for Students
In your Scholar class, your Instructor may be using a tool known as Qwickly Attendance to take attendance for the course. In most cases, this will not affect you; However, settings in Qwickly Attendance may allow your Instructor to take attendance via student check-ins at designated times. If this is the case, you should be able to see a link in your course's sidebar that will allow you to engage with the check-in process. (Note: The title of this link may vary depending on your instructor, but should usually in some way refer to attendance or checking in.)
Clicking this link will open the check-in space in a separate tab on your browser. If your instructor is currently collecting check-ins, you should see a screen with a Check In button available. This screen may also have a timer (If the instructor is doing a timed check-in window) or a field in which you will be expected to enter a four-digit PIN before checking in. (If the Instructor has enabled the PIN feature).Â
Follow any instructions given by the Instructor (Ex. a specific PIN number needed to confirm your presence in class) and click the Check In button. You will then be brought to a confirmation screen verifying that your check-in was successful, and displaying your current attendance record. Note: Depending on your instructor's settings, no other instructions besides the Check In Button may be needed.Â
