Installation
Download the Print Drivers
You can download the latest driver from http://i.cnu.edu/printanywheredriver . Select your version of MacOS from the list. You may have to scroll down to see it.
Make sure to download the one that’s a zip file and includes the C450i driver.
After downloading, double-click the zip file to automatically extract it in your Downloads folder.
Install the Driver
In the folder that is created for the zip file, navigate to the folder for your version of MacOS, then Letter and double-click the file ending in .pkg inside.
You will not need to customize any options. Simply click the Continue button a few times, & then click Install, providing your computer’s administrative password when prompted.
Once installed, you can delete the downloaded zip file and extracted folder from your Downloads.
Install the PrintAnywhere Software
Download the CNU Print Anywhere macOS installer.
Double-click the downloaded file, then double-click “CNU-PrintAnywhere.pkg” in the window that pops up.
Click the Continue button a few times, and then provide your computer’s administrative password when prompted.
If you receive a firewall or security prompt to allow “Popup.app” to accept incoming connections, click on the Allow button.
Using PrintAnywhere
Once you’ve installed PrintAnywhere, you can select it as a printer whenever you’re connected to the CNU wireless network.
Even though the driver is listed as color, your document will print out exactly as seen on your screen and you will be charged accordingly. If you want to specifically print in Black and White or Color, you must select that in your print settings.
When you print a document to the printers added by the installer, you will be prompted to enter your CNU ID number so that only you will be able to release your document at the corresponding printer release station.
Uninstallation
Open Finder. Choose Computer from the Go menu.
Click Macintosh HD, then Library, Application Support and finally Pharos.
In the “Utilities” folder there, double-click Uninstaller.
When prompted, tick the box next to “Pharos Popup” and press the Continue button twice, followed by the Done button to fully remove the application.
If prompted, enter your computer’s administrative password.
