     Instructions

Before attempting to install Windows 11, be sure to backup your data; if you have questions regarding that, please visit the following article HERE; otherwise, please continue with the following steps:

This process will take 30-60 Minutes to complete. You will NOT be prompted when a restart happens; it’s best to block off time or start this process when you are not using your computer for an extended time.

    1. Locate Self Service, which can be found in the Application menu (Start Menu) by typing “Self Service” or via the desktop with an account that states “Self Service.”

    2. Once in self-service, you can navigate the various options to find the "Windows 11 Upgrade.” After clicking "INSTALL," you will see something similar shortly after.

After clicking install, it says “Uninstall” → This means the silent install process has begun.

    3. Once the upgrade process starts, you will NOT be prompted further. The system will restart at least once and take 30-60 minutes to complete. If you feel the upgrade is taking too long or you don’t feel as though it’s running, don't hesitate to contact us at the helpdesk so we can assess and determine the cause.
