Intro to Google Slides

Google Slides is an easy-to-use and powerful presentation tool integrated directly into Google Drive.  Using many of the same functions of Microsoft PowerPoint in a stripped-down interface,  users can quickly and easily create beautiful and informational presentations online. Slides also takes advantage of being Internet-based by including Q&A and mobile presentation features.  After completing the session, participants should be able to use the basic features of Google Slides to create, format, save and share presentations anytime, anywhere. 

Assumptions

Participants in this course should have some basic familiarity with using Google Drive. Passing familiarity with Powerpoint.

  • Add a chart from a sheet
  • Accept Q&A using Presenter Mode
  • Present from a mobile device
