Scholar includes several tools which allow you and your students to continue the conversation online after class is over. You can use Scholar’s communication tools to get your students talking about the topic for class, or as an opportunity for students to individually reflect on course topics. This session will give you the information that you need to set up, manage and grade activities using Scholar’s communication tools

- The differences between discussions and journals
- The types of assignments that work best as each type of tool
- Creating discussion forums, threads and posts
- Creating journals
- Grading discussions, blogs and journals
