Generate Content with the AI Design Assistant

Blackboard has provided several tools to generate parts of your course using artificial intelligence.  These tools are completely optional, and no AI will be used if you don't specifically use it. The model is built-in to Scholar and no student or faculty data is used to train the AI model.  Students are not notified when AI-generated content is used.  There are several different tools that will allow you to use AI to start building aspects of your course.  As AI models can generate incorrect or biased data it's important that you check any AI-generated content for accuracy, bias and appropriateness before including it in your course.

Generate Learning Modules

If you'd like to automatically generate the structure of your course, you can do so at the beginning of your course.  If you'd like the modules to reflect the structure on your syllabus, you can upload your syllabus first.

Start the process by clicking on the plus sign and choosing Auto-Generate Modules.

You can either enter the course description in the top box, or click on Select Course Items to associate it with your syllabus.
